Dear Members,
Thank you for attending our annual holiday party this past Tuesday, December 20th at the House of Joy which was confirmed for 50 members and guests. For those who had to cancel last-minute due to illness or other issues, we celebrated with you in spirit.
We partied and had fun! There was no business talk but a time to eat, drink, be merry, and to get to know each other better. Thank you all for playing Secret Santa who really brought some cool gifts to exchange.
The 10-course dinner was scrumptious. To top it off, we had a taste of Italian Christmas tradition; panettone and delicious Italian cookies.
Thank you to our board members and others who so generously, donated the many prizes for the lucky draw. It surely brought joy to the happy winners.
The spirit of the holiday party manifested a multitude of positive feelings, including greater altruism, goodwill, and generosity.
Thank you so much to my board for the assistance you have so kindly extended this year. I know how busy you have been, and yet, you gave me that valuable time, the chapter needed.
Wishing you and your families, the merriest Christmas, and a healthy and prosperous 2023.
My best personal regards,
Joebert Opulencia
Chairman
Earlier this evening the New York Chapter of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) had its holiday dinner at the House of Joy in Lower Manhattan. Gifts were exchanged in a festive atmosphere. We had a similar gathering at the same venue last August to celebrate the Chapter’s 60th Anniversary. On both occasions we were treated to a delicious 10 course menu.
