Melia Hotels International
To celebrate the new United Airlines direct flight between Newark Liberty International Airport to Mallorca (and also Tenerife) airports in Spain, Live for The Arts honors the sights, sounds, and tastes from both iconic destinations.
Hosted by Mallorca’s own Meliá Hotels International, the evening was filled with literary panel discussions, live art installations, musical performances, and delectable cuisine from Mallorca and New York. It was great to meet some of the new International sales directors.
In the Back Patio, there were platters of sushi and a Seafood Bar that had a spread of jumbo shrimp, lobster, clams, and oysters. The raw bar attendant was shucking oysters all evening. In closing, there was music by Aina Zanoguera, one of the most prodigious voices on the Balearic Islands music scene. It was an elaborate celebration and a festive event enjoyed by all.
According to U.S. News and World Report, Spain has officially been ranked as the number one cultural heritage destination in the world! Spain also ranked 3rd in adventure travel and 6th in cultural influence.
