Chairman Message

It has been an honor and privilege to be taking over as the Chairman of the PACIFIC ASIA TRAVEL ASSOCIATION (PATA) New York Chapter for the biennium 2022-2023.

Our Association is clear in what it is seeking to achieve - and that is to enhance the value, quality and sustainable growth of travel and tourism to, from, and within the Asia Pacific region and beyond.

We will also create a network of like-minded people who have the knowledge, experience, skills, and determination to get involved in the development and sharing of good travel practices and innovations.

The year 2020 has been a difficult one but has left us with a lot of learnings. The COVID-19 pandemic has posed tremendous economic and social challenges and PATA New York Chapter has taken several initiatives to assist its members.

The world has witnessed a digital revolution and I am happy to announce that for the first time, PATA New York Chapter has created its own website.

We have increased our membership and have assisted various national tourism organizations in promoting their respective countries.

I sincerely hope that all our members find great benefit with PATA New York Chapter and look forward to their participation in assisting the Association in achieving its aims and objectives.

For those in the tourism industry who are yet to become members, I wholeheartedly invite you to join us.

Again, thank you for choosing me as your chairman for the next two years. I will be doing everything in the realm of possibility to assist you and the association in the best way that I can. May we all continuously work together as a team for the betterment of the association.
