New Travel Trend

The hotel industry is eagerly anticipating the emergence of Chinese outbound travelers from the pandemic and the changes in their preferences and requirements. According to speakers at the World Travel Market in London, independent travelers who spend more are replacing large travel groups. Cultural immersion, enriched experiences, digital engagement, and off-the-beaten-track destinations are preferred over standard European itineraries. Self-driving vacations are gaining popularity and travelers born post-1990 are dominating the overseas travel segment. Easy digital payment methods remain important, but Chinese travelers are now seeking the most competitive price for the experiences they want rather than the lowest price.

Wellness

Think of behavioral age as how you decide to play out life. There are people who simply accept their date of birth and abdicate their behavior to that age—and others who do not. Just remember: It’s your choice.Your choices help set the parameters for your life moving forward. In fact, lifestyle choices account for about 75 percent of how we age. For instance, you could choose to work around physical limitations or you can limit your level of activity because of them. You can expand your social network or allow it to shrink. You can make plans to experience new things, or stick with the status quo. In the same way that physical activity boosts your energy levels and lifts your spirits, so do mental and social activities—from going back to school to volunteering or working part time.
